Tim, I think we are on the same page. BP lows in August. Some rebound in them even if the market hits new lows going into the fall months. That could lead to a great buying opportunity in October.

The DJIA is the only index still above the 200 EMA and has a positive trend. It looks like it is the last to collapse, so should be the first to re-bounce. Essentially old economy stocks are the last to break.

I don't expect the broader market to go anywhere without the later two indices showing a more positive trend.
