I generally seem to end up in the moderate range of conservatism fairly close to the midpoint between libertarian and authoritarian.

Bushie rightwingers are NOT LIBERTARIANS. Bush's policies are almost the opposite of what real Libertarians are for. Bushie rightwingers are also not true conservatives. They don't conserve a damn thing. They just support corruption and want to take us back to McCarthyism, which was neo-fascism, not conservatism.
