If you voted for Kerry with your analogy, you threw your vote away...just because you voted ticket instead of selecting someone qualified. Votes are never thrown away...you are mistakened. Not Kerry, not W. Hmmm, you must have thrown your vote away on some 3rd or 4th party nobody with no shot. Nice. Or you didn't vote. Also nice.

Tonto votes on principle, as a matter of personal conscience. To do otherwise is to sacrifice honor for something ignoble. A vote is a mere expression of what one is willing to stand for in life, after all. A popular expression on this thread (not surprisingly) is encouragement to vote for some 'lesser evil'. There is no such thing as lesser evil, by the way. It is an honor to live as a free and conscionable human being; but it's a free country, which entitles you to throw away human nobility in support of 'lesser evils,' so feel free. If there were more people like tonto, lesser/greater evils wouldn't have a chance.
