Bought a starter position in MDT afterhours today at 49$. The company appears to operate well in a somewhat more difficult environment. PE is around 20 with a 15% projected growth rate and a miniscule 0.8% dividend yield is attractive for a blue chip with MDT track record, IMO.

Paul, I like BBBY. I don't currently own it, but it's never left my watchlist. I have held it in the past - I sold what I had back in September 05.

Some retailers are starting to look interesting again. Chicos FAS (CHS) is tempting again to me right now. Urban Outfitters URBN also (I have about a half position in URBN now, and almost bit on CHS but am waiting.)

I opened a full position to Landstar LSTR this week and added to my existing Ceradyne CRDN.

Also at the top of the list is Knight Transport KNX.

Paul, the Motley Fool put out a decent article today on Bed Bath and Beyond. Sortof a bull vs. bear case. Thought you might want to read.
