Global warming is a huge problem and man-made due to burning fossil fuels and greenhouse gases. There is no dispute amongst scientists about that. Gore was way ahead of his time on that and deserves major credit. In fact if Gore were prez in 2000, by now we'd have cut more oil useage than is in all of Alaska because I'm sure Gore would have support the all-important Kerry-McCain CAFE standards bill in 2001. Since Bush is defeated that we're now in a much deeper hole than we were before vis a vis dependency on Arab oil. Exxon wins, but everyone else in the US loses.
