IMO, oilsands is a waste of natural gas, the loss of BTU's to produce oil would be better spent to use nat gas as fuel.

Very little has been said of automotive conversions to propane and yet a flex fuel design of ethanol and propane would be 12 to 15% more efficient than the current crop of E85/gasoline flex cars.

Propane as an auto fuel was a big hit in the '70's and early '80's and it could be again, however at current prices with road tax added propane would be about the same cost as gasoline
