I have some data (purchase index, market index) for a few years, but I don't the dollar value of mortgages. Bummer!

I don't have the historical data. -15.5% YOY on purchases puzzles me. My guess is that it may be because of bigger slowdown in more expensive bubble areas. For instance Orange county resale YOY 32% down.
