This is an illusion. March was revised down - that is the only reason April shows an increase.

April will be revised down too. The down trend started last July and is continuing.

i don't watch NEM that closely, but i've noticed that big trader money flows have been contrary to the price action for several days now across the sector. a good sign for the intermediate term outlook, though not necessarily the short term.
