Well, I do agree that Gore was cheated out of Florida, but it never should have even been close. Not with the winds he had blowing at his back. Gore's biggest blunder was choosing Joe Libermann of CT as his runningmate. That alienated a lot of liberals who don't like traditionialist Liberman and did nothing to balance the ticket, as the northeast was a region in Gore's column anyway. All he needed was someone like Bob Graham of Florida and he would have won Florida and perhaps a few other swing states. Also, his campaign was pathetic. He had no fire in his belly and his debating style left a lot to be desired. No knockouts there. I will never forgive Bush for chastizing the Democrats for "misusing" our military on nation building missions, only to turn around and get us involved in our two biggest nation building missions in our history Iraq and Afghanstan. What a schmuck. I look forward to hearing his bumbling tomorrow night.
