...it's the system of elections that fill the organization. I agree that is one of the problems, I don't agree solving it is a cure all. How would you eliminate private financing. I suppose it would be easy to eliminate direct contributions to campaign funds. But then we have private people who can fund their own promotions of a candidate and they can fund more indirect promotions: For example, what is to stop me from producing a feature film that casts my candidate in the lime light or that defames your candidate? Would it be against the law for me to produce a feature somewhat fictionalized movie called 'Life with Tipper', about a woman married to a man named Al Bore, where the hero of the movie is a guy named John McCann?
