What's so funny about Jefferson? He and about 30-50 rightwing congressmen are corrupt and ought to be marched to prison. Of course these things take time, but the GOP should stop covering up and immediately call for investigations into their own members of congress. If the GOP won't police its own corruption then THE PEOPLE will take them out the old-fashioned way.

The big news today is Hastert being investigated, the Speaker Of The House, the third most powerful Republican. Rove and Cheney are also in serious trouble. Delay as we know has already resigned after being indicted for felony fraud and money laundering. What is really is is racketeering and selling out the American people. Some 30 other rightwing congressmen and senators are also under serious ethics scrutiny. Bush is guilty too of course. All this went on on his watch. And we still don't know why he invaded Iraq, let Osama go, ignored the 8-6-01 warning or pimped for the Dubai Ports deal. And we don't know who he's illegally spying on.
