So what is your point? The problem now is that greenhouse gases are going up significantly and we know that causes warming. There are other factors as well, most of which tend to be cyclic.

Prior to the Industrial Revolution, CO2 levels were pretty tightly around 280ppm (within 10ppm), but then they kind of shot up. See the graph at this link:

The increase continues in the 1.5-2.5ppm/year range, with no end in sight unless we start working on the issue. What do you think we should do?
