Of course they could always lure more nurses with increased salaries. Usually that's what happens when there is a shortage of one type or another. Odd that never happens with nurses.

Why don't we flood the country with doctors Caribbean diploma factories? That's lower the cost of health care too.

How about we start treating the nurses we have with a little more respect and better pay? And quit laying them off when the budget gets tight.
