I can understand your anger, I'd be pissed off as well.

I replaced my fax a while back with an Internet fax service. I'll get rid of that this year. I want to avoid any customer who is still tied to using a damned fax machine. Mostly I get junk faxes over the Internet fax service, a lot of 1.5% teaser rate refinance loan offers. The good thing is, they don't use up paper but they do waste my time. I have an old fax machine that my husband would occassionaly plug in to send stuff to his office. Now I have to teach him how to use the scan/fax function on the scanner.

I just switched to Vonage a few months ago, so I was curious what your complaints were. I am so happy to get rid of Verizon/ATT. I forgot one thing and that was that my TiVo updates my programing schedule over the phone line. So today I'm getting a wireless adaptor to put it on the network. Other than that it's been seamless to switch to Vonage. I didn't get any solicitation for their IPO.
