I checked it out (the Enron book), and then I got distracted by some fiction. And then I bought a bunch of books- so I doubt I'll read it. The ADM book sounds interesting. I will put it on my list of future reads, which I never seem to get to.

The last few non-fiction books I read were about plagues- the Great Mortality and the Great Influenza (Mortality is the better book, by a long shot). Now I'm reading Perdita- very interesting- but unfortunately totally off topic as far as a stock thread is concerned. Since I recently read a book about Farren- one of the other famous women actresses of the same time period, I'm really enjoying it. But even if you didn't already have an interest in the period it's a very good book.

Thanks for the recommendation on the ADM book. I was always interested in their scandal. I find the Hunt brothers fascinating as well- and I actually read something about them, but unfortunately cannot remember what it was. Too many books, too few brain cells for storage.
