Gore is and has been right about the environment since day one. If he had been president we'd already be on the way to being completely off Arab oil without costing us a single wildlife refuge or marine sanctuary. And the Iraq War wouldn't have happened. Plus we'd be paying $1 less a gallon and cutting down on pollution.

Ditto Kerry four years later. But now we basically have big oil running our country.

Actually this goes back to Carter. If Reagan hadn't disbanded Carter's wonderful clean fuels and efficiency programs, we would have been completely off Arab oil ten years ago.

So who stands with the polluters, gas gougers and Saudi kisasses? Clearly Reaganites then and Bushies now. And clearly they are wrong. They are also wrong on the lie that cutting pollution costs jobs. It doesn't Never has. Never will. It creates jobs and sustains a better lifestyle.
