When the motive to accomplishing any goal is disruption or aggression, no effective measure is known to be effective except overwhelming control measures directed at stopping the disruption or aggression. This often results in an escalation of the disruption or aggression prior to its elimination. Any responsible leader would recognize this, and all of us must either accept our responsibility to stand against brutal tyranny or surrender to it. You really are a moron! I don't believe you didn't vote for Dumbya. You seem stupid enough to do exactly that. First off, Saddam was so emasculated that he couldn't even throw firecrackers at the marauding invaders let alone launch those dreaded (non-existent) nukes and chemical and bacterial weapons. Second, as regards the "brutal tyranny" stuff, remember that Dumbya had only one valid excuse for sending our troops to die there - and that is to protect American security. It is pathetic to see the "democracy" nonsense being bandied about now. Even more importantly, the folks out there will not buy your and Dumbya's crapola that you are there for establishing democracy - not when you have brutal tyrants like Musharraf and Karimov (who is known to BOIL his political opponents) in your so-called coalition. Third, if you are still thinking about the elimination of the Iraqi resistance, then you are totally nuts. Here, you have eaten Cheney's "last throes" crap! Btw, with reference to Iraq, Dumbya has used the term "turning point" and "milestone" so many times that they have ceased to have any meaning when he uses them. Looks like you have been eating Dumbya's crap too! Fourth, the longer a guerrilla war drags on, the less and less likely it is that the conventional army will win. The "dead ender" Iraqi resistance has kept the US at bay (and their puppets firmly within the Green Zone) for over 3 years now. The war is already lost. It is up to the American people to decide how many more Iraqi people and American soldiers they would let Dumbya kill.
