That has been the way it has gone. Thats why i only gave it 1 in 4. In order for a nation or people to give up the dream, they need to be crushed and know it. The 67 war was a lighteing event and the average pal felt very little. Actually there were many pals who were damn happy israel took over the WB from jordan. They were actually optimistic but the powers to be prevented any settlement and things got worse. The defeat of the pal infitada 2 was a much clearer defeat. In desperation or in defiance, they now choose hamas and i bet they regret it. If abbas puts a two-state to a vote as he says he will do if hamas doesnt change its evil ways, i think two state will win and if it does, it will be because the pals will be behaving like a defeated people which is what they are. Its a first step--realism and a realistic assessment of ones situation always is. mike
