I used to be very opposed to ethnic states, but after looking at Israel realistically, and also looking at what I know of Africa, I'm not so opposed anymore. Being an American, and holding to the values that all men/women are created equal, I'm not particularly keen having international governments created based solely upon extended families (tribes). Even with Israel, I'm not supportive of them strictly because they are a Jewish state (although 20% of Israel's citizens are Arab), but because they are democratic. The minute Israel ceases to uphold democratic values, they are no different than the rest of the countries in the region. Hawk
