This was an e mail response I received yesterday after I put the Lou Dobbs AZ Republic article out to all my friends and relatives. Yes we have seen it and read it. First of all the correct terms should be illegal aliens, not immigrants. Immigrants have valid and up-to-date documentation allowing them to enter this country for purpose of education, work or visitation. I'm a registered Democrat but Ted Kennedy who has been chairman of the Committee on Immigration for about the last 15 years has done as much to sabotage the legal immigration process as have corporate America. Make no mistake, all political parties are at fault and bribes in from political lobbyists are keeping corporate America in power. Keep in mind I worked at Thunderbird for 22 years. The NAFTA conference where all of the original agreements sponsored by huge international corporations were signed during the NAFTA conference at Thunderbird. You don't work at a place like that and not learn what is going on in politics and in the business world. Corporations would love to take our arms away from us. Just think what a situation the people living in American cities close to the Southern borders would be in, unable to defend themselves and their property. We have a neighbor we know well just 6 houses away from us who are currently moving their elderly out of and off of their paid for property in Southern Arizona because it is no longer safe there. Their property has been inundated with illegal aliens, garbage, excrement, urine, the home has been broken into, many things stolen. They've been awaken at night with as many as 15 to 20 people at one time banging on the doors and windows to get in. Did you get the picture of the march of illegal aliens down town last month. These were no poor farm workers or poor housekeepers. These were healthy strong illegal aliens who felt entitled to be here, entitled to services and the leaders organized the activity quite well. The demonstration finally alerted a few people who realized what it meant to be outnumbered, what it meant to have illegal aliens who felt entitled to close roads and businesses. Take a look at the Wal-Mart circular enclosed in the Sunday Republic newspaper or in the Thursday's circular mailing. The circular was designed for Memorial Day sales. On the front of the circular is a photo of a man and a woman watching "international soccer"? There are flags visible but no American flag, "Futbol" which is what soccer is called in other countries is used in the advertising. The man is wearing a T-shirt with MEXICO printed on the front. There is no red, white and blue, no mention of Memorial Day, no sign of the American Flag. The word upset does not come close to what I felt. Wal-Mart does not have their ads printed in French, German, Russian, Chinese or Japanese. Wal-Mart is an American owned company, a very good example of corporate America who would love to have our Southern and Northern borders open with not borders, no guards. Corporations would make a bundle. NAFTA, North American Free Trade Agreement has done more to encourage lack of security at our borders and outsource American jobs to other countries and undermine the welfare of this nation than the average US citizen knows. It was a political/business contract that gives away our jobs, weakens our country, has created a dependence on imported foods, clothing and goods. This country can give away vast amounts of wheat and peanut butter and cheese but we now must import about 65 percent of our fruits and vegetables. There are no longer enough farms here to supply our food. They've been paved over and replaced with buildings to house the Millions of illegal aliens inundating this country. Most citizens have no problem with legal immigrants, people who use the legal process to enter this country and apply for citizenship. The average citizen of any political view are highly offended by the, use any word you wish, influx, inundation, beginning of a take over of this country by illegal aliens. Legal immigrants have rights and protection under the laws of this land. Illegal aliens are criminals. They became criminals when they broke the law by entering this country illegally. It doesn't matter why the law was broken. Either breaking the law is right or wrong. A law is a law. Break it and those who break it are criminals. I'm highly opposed to giving amnesty to illegal aliens, criminals from other countries. Jail them, deport them no matter. Deporting them is probably less taxing on the system. Give a road to citizen ship to illegal aliens, no. We don't need criminals, people who are willing to break the law. We need people who can contribute positively to this country. We can be kind and we can share food and water and clothing and housing and medical care and tax monies and share and share and share. We can share until we have nothing left to share. We can share until people get so complacent about sharing that we find our government telling us that we must share with Billions to other countries, leave the borders open. We've already given up our privacy do we now give up our jobs, our food sources. Remember when you were a kid in school and you would be told about what life was like behind the iron curtain. People had no privacy, they had no jobs, were taxed, had no vote, were told where their money was to be spent and what they could buy, had to share their homes, their land. Their land was taken away for the good of the government. "Imminent Domain"?? Where have you heard for the good of the many? Take from those who have for the good of the many. Our current representatives nationwide, the offices have been filled with greed. Corporate America and international corporations have been greedy but they have moved too swiftly in the last few years. People have noticed. It is not a political party thing it is a business thing, a corporate thing, a profit thing. Many people realize this but they are so busy with the daily struggle that the independence of this country is no longer part of their vision. We've been taught to be kind and to share. What we don't realize is that we are not in the long run sharing with the poor of the world we are lining the pockets of the already rich. Do I believe this, you bet your rosy fanny I do. My relatives who have given their lives for this country and those who spent time in the military and those who were World History and American History teachers would be appalled at the current behavior of our representatives of any political leaning. If the government by federal or state is successful in taking away our right to have arms to defend ourselves this country can and will become a blend of this continent. Our taxes are spent without our approval, our food is imported, our jobs are outsourced, our health care has become wanting due to a lack of medical professionals, our schools and emergency rooms are bursting at the seams. If the illegal aliens are allowed to stay, obtain citizenship with the right to vote and the borders are not closed and protected, if we don't stop bleeding money and jobs from this country, if we do not wake up we will soon become either the United States of North and South America or the United States of Wal-Mart. No citizenship chance for illegal aliens ever, deport all illegal aliens now, immediately. Our government does not worry about a criminal's family if a criminal if put in prison. Why is anyone using the excuse of not splitting up families to not deport illegal aliens, criminals. The companies can then place ads for filling the job openings and then will have to pay a living wage to workers which is what most of this is about, profit, greed. Corporations would like us to be kind, share what we have, be a good citizen and not ask questions, don't make waves, don't complain. If we are mindless and allow our greedy representatives to make decisions for us we will continue to share but what we share eventually goes into the pockets of the corporates. I enjoyed being a 1950's citizen. I enjoyed and always have enjoyed when affordable buying "American Made" or "Made in the U.S.A.". I enjoyed knowing my father belonged to a Union, that family had group retirement and health insurance through a Union. Greed there ruined the unions, ruined the trade systems of teaching and learning trades. Greed of the large business corporations will make paupers of us all if we continue to be complacent. Voice your opinion whatever it be. Get out and vote whoever you select and whatever party. Get online and see/read what your State, County and City representatives are doing, the way they vote. Send them letters, make phone calls. Don't forget, you can watch your representatives on TV and online. The newspapers can slant a story but your representative's vote tells you exactly what he/she selects. Buy American Made whenever possible. Sure it will cost more. If you buy imports of anykind you may as well put the money in an envelope and mail it to a foreign country or foreign owned corporation or to an American owned corporation that has outsourced jobs. Oooooo, wonder if the snoops are reading this email. Hee, hee. I laughed until I had a sore throat about the Patriot Act, not so much about the content or the why, and most of it a good reason for security but about the name. Do you think it ever would have passed at any time if it was named "The Snoop and Spy On You Act"? Now say a prayer for all of our representatives at any level that they are strong of mind, true of heart, believe in God and take good care of us. |
