I have to admit I'm baffled myself. You have to figure a large % of libs know full well the MSM & DNC have been lying their asses off for years. How do they justify it? Why aren't they speaking out against it in huge numbers? Do they think that their side is bad but conservatives are worse? If so, why is it that you don't see conservatives lying their asses off on every single significant issue? Then there also certainly seems to be a very large % of libs who, despite mountains of contrary evidence, buy into every single lie with every fiber of their being. Even when confronted with irrefutable evidence destroying the meme they just espoused, they stubbornly cling to their faulty version of reality. What is their excuse? I have no pity for any of these folks. They deserve to be scorned harshly because there is no justifiable excuse for this type of behavior. The only group on the left I have pity for is those who get most of their "news" from the MSM. It's hard to blame them for having a thoroughly distorted POV on the issues.
