[edited] @RINK - OEM actions

Look here: ;-)))
"
...
A series of price reductions by our rival on desktop and notebook processors could in fact be good news for consumers. In the past, AMD's rival used to dominate the industry with its pricing edge. Nonetheless, [bold]this exclusive benefit has gradually been eroded, while at the same time, there has been a sharp increase in AMD brand awareness, worldwide. [/bold]
...
Unlike before, when AMD used to implement low-cost strategies, developing profitable growth is now our priority concern, and we avoid blindly following price-cut fluctuations in the industry.
...
I'm aware that there is some some speculation that we have insufficient capacity. To clarify this issue, AMD has kept close watch over market adoption and automatically adjusted capacity allocation, in order to keep supply and demand in balance.

Should tell everyone whats going on ...
If Intel hasn't the ability (lawsuit) of the "old pricing
sheme" anymore (or has to change something), AMD will gain
share in ALL segments. We will see even more - bookmark
this ... *g*
