niek, AMD: today's Fry's ad features many computers with the AMD logo prominently displayed. Looks like 'Intel inside' used to.

The potential problem is that Chartered's ramp and growing customer base at its 300mm fab could also see the company close to capacity at that same time as AMD. Yes I know that means Chartered needs to announce a second 300mm fab sooner rather than later!

That's what I've been saying for some time based on CHRT data but some of the AMD boneheads don't listen.
I'm really tired of NVLS and probably move it into ASML.
