And my recent discussions related to GW should bear that out (pardon the pun). Then your earlier comment was BS. I can live with that. And liberals act as if the world will end tomorrow, even were the Pocurpine Caribou to become extinct (a fate which nature has relegated so many of other species over the eons). I think a more comparable comparison is that liberals think if they save the ANWR this year it'll be saved in future years. Pretty silly. I'd say that the best chance to avoid ANY extinctions is to make the private market a player in expending the $$$$ and efforts toward preserving them. I'd say ... you might as well write the polar bears off as a lost cause. That's the breaks of the game. Some species win, some lose. The bears are losers. jttmab
