The duke show was not her only show that night. I heard she had a few other appearances.

The race card was played by blacks in Raleigh-Durham who have been insisting on the figurative lynching of these young men. Nifong was in a tough spot. Up for re-election in a tight race in a county with an 39.5% black population. As I said before, call me cynical, but I think he rushed to indict for fear he would lose a lot of that vote if he was perceived as not pushing the case aggressively. As for tearing and bruising, were you aware that the woman had semen inside her and it tested as not belonging to any of the defendants (or anyone else who was in the house that night)?
