That's only because in your mind American terrorism is much more benign than foreign terrorism.

There isn't a whole lot of activity that would be properly classified as "American terrorism". Not that the US is perfect, plenty of things can be harmful or even perhaps unjust without being terrorism.

Tim, the war is going very badly in Iraq. Its time that you stop jawboning and making excuses, and do something about it. You need to call/email your politicians and any other connections you have with the RNC and tell them America must withdraw asap. Bush's/the GOP's/your premises were all wrong about the war and you will never win or accomplish what you set out to do.

In the meantime, this horrendous travesty is undermining this country.....its democracy, its economy, its people. Demonstrations against the war are breaking out almost daily. It won't be long before there is fighting in the streets.

Its over. I know you are not a quick study and that your ideology runs thickly through your veins, but you and your colleagues have been wrong from the get go. You all must set things straight now before its too late. And you start that by admitting that you were wrong and then taking to steps to right that wrong. We must have a timetable for gradual withdrawal of our troops over the next six months. Its going to happen soon whether you want it or not......better to go willingly then to pull a Nixon and be forced to resign.

This is the best advise you've had in 4 years.....take it.

By QASSIM ABDUL-ZAHRA , 05.31.2006, 10:11 AM

Iraq's new prime minister declared a state of emergency Wednesday in the southern city of Basra, vowing to crack down with an "iron fist" on rival gangs battling each other for power.

A car bomb in the northern city of Mosul, meanwhile, killed five policemen, the latest in an especially bloody week of attacks.
