I am very sympathetic to the lot of all immigrants both legal and illegal. Mexico is the country on the border and you can bet there would be no mexican immigration, if minimum wage laws, green paper regulations no cash remuneration were followed by employers. Now i am not sure we would end up in a good situation with out low end mexican workers doing the scut work, but if you want to try it the first place to look is at the employers. Hell if you were a starving mexican and someone offered you $50 per day, and there was no hope in your country and your famility was starving, you'd be climbing a fence too and i would be right there with you.

I am just not sure if their elimination would add value. The rough on the golf courses for instancne would be unplayable and the fairways would slowly be turning to rough.
