It's not a left-right issue. It's about whether the US is a sovereign country. It's about whether we have laws that are worth obeying. It's about whether our system of social entitlements, and their funding sources, can support a fast rising percentage of the population. It's about whether American citizens themselves are being disenfranchised.

Most of the nurses coming here are probably do so legally. The US would have to be a 3rd world country to stop people from wanting to come here. And is it my job to check for green cards when someone paints my house or mows my yard while the government won't do their job and deport people when they find them?
