I know Taupo Bay well. Had a fishing buddy Barry and Charmain? when I was there 20 years ago (spent 6 months on coppers beach). We fished all over the north. I loved the bluffs on 90 mile beach. Caught a 15 lb snapper there. I went diving a lot out on the Keri Keri pennisula. I miss my evening walks on coopers beach. Magical. So pretty and always something going on. My daughter is planning to work on her masters and PHD there and apply for citizenship. So if she does that I will just get a permanent visa to be near her. You are a lucky guy.
