"bpNDX rose three to 35% [GENZ GRMN SEPR] we've seen the bp bottom"

Rising 3 from an extreme bottom is a very good indication that the market has seen a near-term bottom.

Gottfried, Up 3 is a good start - let's hope it keeps going.

I looked at the last "bottom" of the bpNDX which occured in April 05 which was close to the same level we are now.

From that point in April, the NASDAQ went from about 1900 to 2220 in the first part of August, a 17 percent gain.

If the same type of performance holds true this summer as well, we are looking at a "summer rally". Not the type of market where a person sells in May and goes away.

Also, this possible scenario would support a "bottom" in Oct of this year just like last year when the NASDAQ bottomed on Oct 13th at 2025(intraday), down 9 percent from August. Not a big, or long term bottom mind you, but a bottom nevertheless. bpNDX went from about 62 in Aug to about 47 in Oct.
