It is also asymmetric in what has been accomplished. Israel has succeeded in conquering land, while for the Arabs it is only fantasy. In 1948, Transjordan had the only really professional Arab army (it had British officers). They took the West Bank and the Old City of Jerusalem in heavy fighting - and drove every Jew out of the land they conquered. There are also Hizbullah's more recent successes in Lebanon. For the rest, you can hardly dismiss with the word "fantasy" efforts which the Arabs gave a good solid try in 1948, 1967 and 1973. They tried and lost.
