The web is an antidote to propaganda.
~ AND ~
The web is a generator of propaganda.

It's a common logical fallacy to assume since there are two sides to the story that they should each have equal weight.
That's not the case.
The cross-checking allowed by a free and open internet makes it easier to find the flaws in propaganda. The fact that the propaganda is also on the net is actually an asset since it gives something to compare.
