Condi Rice had zero qualifications to be Security Advisor. Her only expertise was in Russian studies, and Russia was no longer a threat to us. She studied the old Cold War threats and was a wonk about that. She knew nothing about terrorism, physical security, intelligence operations, military, covert ops, Delta Force or modernday threats. On 8-6-01 Rice received anm urgent warning from the CIA. It said "Osama Bin laden determined to strike inside USA" and warned about hijackings inside the US coming soon. What did RTice do? Nothing. Same as her boss who also saw the warning and disregarded it.
