Shack....Gotta run, but here's a count I had for the SPX at one point back in Dec....Think I have one like this somewhere for the COMPX...Anyway, this takes the Aug 2004 low as the launch of 5 of the 2002 impulse.....as you suggest...

As for the 2400s for the COMPX....I had several TA projections....not EW....in that range..

Will be back.....gg

Otoh, why not. One more blow off squeeze, in the best of traditions... anything can happen. I kinda doubt it, but it ain't up to me... all I can do is look for clues - and watch out that my toches (sp?) doesn't get handed to me... -g

<<......have you (or anyone) considered that the $COMP move off the August 2004 low is wave 5 of the Oct 2002 impulse and is taking the shape of an ED?..>>

As indicated yesterday, here's a chart I drew in December following that approach........Chart mentions....but does not show....ED.....and the 3-wave advances since Aug 2004 are consistent with ED....

Will look to update and take into account your latest comments...

Yours of the 27th:

<<Speaking of evolving ED's, have you (or anyone) considered that the $COMP move off the August 2004 low is wave 5 of the Oct 2002 impulse and is taking the shape of an ED? That would mean we just completed the (iv) down and we head to the high 2400's now before the Oct 2002 impulse finally corrects.>>

Resting from yesterday's labors...on a rainy holiday......here's what I come up with FWIW....Chart self-explanatory....

One proviso.....Not at all sure we can say "we just completed the (iv) down".......Looks like we might need another down to complete that....and that could scare s out of the bulls and enrapture the bears...LOL
