You got it, and we're getting the same BS from '86. RNC is dreamwalking. Push polling to support "their" president. We got the wrong Bush. Shoulda been Jeb.

Well, the hard core position of my friend is WALL NOW, Amnesty, NEVER!! Being married to a Filipina I totally understand how difficult it is for a foreigner to get here LEGALLY. Even an educated one like my wife, has to jump through HOOPS and often spend a great deal of money to achieve the goal. There is NO WAY these uneducated, poor Mexicans are ever gonna be able to play by the rules as our rules now stand. Thats Ok, perhaps we SHOULDNT be making citizens out of people who likely will never get the golden ring, but seems to me there ought to be an alternative. I am in the camp that says YES, these people are valuable to our country, someone has to do the grunt work, and more and more Americans JUST WONT DO IT, and if you pay them enough to get them to do it, they do it GRUDGINGLY and in general insufficiently to be effecient. So, I AM in favor of some type of temporary worker visa, allowing them to come in here, do the job, make some money and then go back home till next opportunity arises. jdn
