The list would take up far too much bandwidth...

Mind telling us who would make a better president than John Kerry?

Ralph Nader would be a fair and honest president.

<<<And I repeat, Gore ain't running. And even if it he did run, Kerry proved himself a better candidate in 2004.>>>

Don't get me wrong Spirit, I think you're one of the best if not the best democrat posters on SI but when you make flat out statements like the one above it hurts your credibility. How can you say Kerry proved himself to be the best candidate? I can't say Gore was the better candidate but I can say it is my opinion that Gore was the better candidate.

Let's look at the defining moments of the elections both were in.

Both Gore and Kerry felt (as did most Americans) that they had won the election but had been cheated out of it. What did they do when it happened? Gore fought back and took it all the way to the supreme court. Kerry gave up and went on a skiing vacation. Gore won the popular vote and Kerry lost. Junior was better known by the second election so he should have been easier to beat but Kerry did worse than Gore did. You may say the reason Kerry lost the popular vote was due to the electronic republican voting machines. I agree with this but if Kerry agreed why didn't he put up a fight to get to the truth? Why did he just roll over and play dead?

I say it is my opinion that Gore was the better candidate, you flat out state that Kerry was the best. What do you base you statement on? If it is on public opinion I think more people will agree with me than agree with you.

Every few posts you state that Gore isn't running. Again you make a flat out statement simply as an attempt to garner support for Kerry. You base your statement that Gore isn't running on the fact that he hasn't declared he is running yet. Well just when did Kerry come out and say he is running?

What it all boils down to as to who would be the better candidate in the next election between the two of them is who is more popular with the voters. So, if you answer any part of this post answer this one part. Which of the two of them between Kerry and Gore is polling better right now and how much higher is the one who has more support? That is the one who will make the better candidate.

Let's just hope enough people stop watching such drivel as american idol and pay enough attention to politics that the democrat candidate doesn't end up being Hillary.
