The evidence was WIDELY reported at the time.

Once success was achieved (the pardon), there were *many* reporters, conservative activists, etc., etc., who were exploring every dusty corner of the multi-year (^ very expensive...) campaign to secure his pardon... the previous false starts, the campaign donations, the WH visits, it was a LONG TERM campaign for Rich... success was not quickly achieved.

Why do you ask?
