Yeah...but wasn't Nixon the president elect then? And didn't Nixon also later claim that no troops were in Cambodia?

And Kerry did not say that Nixon was president when he witnessed troops in Cambodia. You're taking it out of context.

Kerry didn't say that any more than Bush said he wanted Ossama Dead or Alive.

It is beyond me why he was ever trying to make himself out to be a war hero in an unpopular war. What was he thinking? But, aside from that, he lost me when he went to the podium at the convention and gave one of the most sorry excuses for a salute that I have ever seen an ex military man give.

He'd either forgotten how or didn't have his heart in it...or both.
