Ok, now we're getting somewhat closer to you answering my question of when did Kerry declare that he is running. You say Gore stated he isn't running. That is true. Anyone who knows as much about politics as you do knows (or should know) all of the people who have been named as possible candidates are running in their own way. I don't know all of the things which Kerry has said since the last election but I know he has been asked a lot of times if he is going to run in 2008. What was Kerry's answer when asked this question?

The people mentioned as possible candidates for election in 08 are all running. They may never appear on a ballot, they may never declare that they are running but we all know they all adore the attention of being named as a possibly future president. Any well known candidate who declares himself early opens himself up to more criticism than the ones who wait till later to declare. Some will never gather enough support to actually make a real run for president but if that is a problem for either Gore or Kerry it will be more of a problem for Kerry than it is for Gore.

I think you should stop saying Gore isn't going to run because you know as well as the people you are saying this to that Gore is way ahead of kerry in popularity right now. This may change at any time but for the present Gore has a whole lot more support than Kerry does. If you continue to deny this you are not facing reality.

I think we all know Gore and Kerry are both running right now even if neither ever declares.

<<<<I also picked up that Gore's very happy with his life now>>

That must mean that Kerry isn't happy with his life so is is going to be a candidate for president. Baloney!

He was groaning that you were bothering him.

Instead of looking strong and fierce, ready to take them on, he sighed hopelessly and groaned

Gore has stated many times he isn't running.
Al Gore will be the guest next week on ABC's "This Week".

Tune in next week, on Sunday, June 4, as we sit-down with former Vice President Al Gore for his first Sunday morning interview in over three years.
