Also the 3,000 lost Gore votes from the butterfly ballot problem in Palm Beach County and the 70% plus vote for Bush of Arabs in Florida in part because of the courting by the White house of Sami El Arian a strong Palestinian leader in Florida. Sami went big after the Arab vote for Bush. This is the same guy the Bushies then had arrested after 2001 for abetting terrorism. He is being deported soon, I think he is certainly very anti-Isreali and he is far from being a good guy, but probably did not do all the govt. said he did , in fact much of what he supposedly did was before 1995 and the White House had to know about that when they were using him in 2000 to get Arab votes in fla.
