What politician has ever done a thing like that? Also, that plays right into the smear artists hands. Don't you get it? O'Neill is a fat-faced lying nobody. He's a sleazy rightwing operative paid off by the Houston crowd. And he never sereved with Kerry so he doesn't know jack. He never saw anything. For Kerry to take him on personally would diminish Kerry down in the mud puddle. Then Bush could pretend he's above it all. Never blame the victims of smear campaigns. If you do, you are encouraging more of them.
