That's what happens to a society when the captains of industry go running off to the next pool of cheap labor.

When a nation loses it's manufacturing base, it becomes vulnerable to attack, economic as well as military.

These days it's also important to maintain a technology base.

We're seeing both of those erode from out shores, so to Japan.

Profits know not nationalism. Feed the greed.
