We have gone as far as we can in the fossil fuel era. It can not be sustained.

Are you suggesting that I'm unaware of that or unconcerned about it?

If you think that I don't get that, then maybe you're demonstrating Achenbach's point. Black hats and white hats and no nuance.

War will be outlawed.

What would that even mean?

The only way it can really be outlawed is if you have one government over everyone that is able to wage war. Such a government would be likely to outlaw war between any states/provinces/regions etc. that it controls. It may even be able to enforce this for a time, but I doubt it can enforce it (or maintain itself in existence) forever.
