Texas contributed a billion dollars to the SSC. How much of the 14 billion dollars did Massachusetts pay for the big dig?

Just so you know, the so-called "Star Wars" program is in existence right now. One of my best friends who has a doctorate in nuclear engineering worked on the DoD project back in the 1980s and 1990s after leaving the Navy where he served as an engineer on a USN attack sub's sodium reactor.

His project was to provide power for hunter-killer satellites that are in orbit defending against ICBMs. He was part of a team that successfully found a way to convert nuclear radiation directly into electrical power.
