The FOUNDERS trusted in a people of good enough character and intelligence, who would realize that liberty does not depend on the "rule of law" (or the "rule" of ANYTHING, since they are all just another form of tyranny) but on their WISDOM to CORRECT laws that fail. Populist morons who believe in the tyranny of law because they cannot comprehend the opposing world visions were around the FOUNDERS, just as they are around us today (and squealing for us to "secure" the border.) Thus the FOUNDERS saw the Hitlers coming, and the danger of the "rule of law" fraud overtaking our true ideals. The conservative movement has risen to power because they have successfully fended off, not co-opted, the Perots, Buchanans, and O'Reilly's. The war is STILL with the anti-American left wing domestic enemy. And the war can STILL be lost...
