Murtha isn't rushing to judgement, that's BS.
Murtha simply found out the Pentagon was trying to cover up what appears to be another My Lai Massacre. Troops lined up Iraqi civilians and mowed them down like the Nazi Germans used to do. That's not American, that's sick and evil.

Now the troops responsible could be charged with murder, but who is really to blamne? The same policy-makers who stuck our troops in this pressure-cooker for years without end, no clear mission, no way of winning, and lies justifying the investgation in the first place.

This is Vietnam in the desert, and these atrocities are to be expected.

Thgese atrocities are also the way you lose the war for the hearts and minds, which ios the most important thing now. The buck stops at Bush's desk. He's the one who refused to change course.

Sen. Hagel(R) says Middle East worse now than 3 years ago. Republicans are beginning to see the light, that Bush-Cheney have made the world less safe, not more safe, despite the biggest outlay of money and troops in decades.

"Finally, Russert asks Hagel about a statement he made last week in which he said the Bush administration should engage directly with Iran. Hagel reiterates the point and, in a startlingly candid assessment of Middle East policy, goes on to say, "I think you could make a pretty strong case that things are worse off in the Middle East today than they were three years ago. By measurement of Iraq, by Iran, by the Palestinian-Israeli issue, what's going on in Egypt. And, I think the United States must use its force of diplomacy to engage Iran."

* Time for Bushies to quit covering this up and lying about it. Bush failed and needs to be replaced. The people have the power to do that through congress. The people want us out of Iraq and so do the troops.

Nice find. People like Murtha and Kerry are disgusting. Of course if Kerry ever had any honor it might mean something to criticize him. Murtha might have once had honor, but he has forgone any rights it might once have given him by his dishonorable conduct of late.
