Gore also blew it by not taking on and taking out Nader. Nader was a menace. He had some valid points, but he was a spoiler for the rightwing all the way. Bushies even gave money to his campaign. The far left were really suckered. Also, Nader would be a terrible president. He doesn't have an ounce of unifying diplomacy in his body. He doesn't work well with others. He is a one-trick pony. In this case, his trick was helping Bush attain power.
