this was David Kanter's post the same day of Chuck Moore's presentation:

Name: David Kanter (dkanter@realworldtech.com) 5/16/06

So, AMD is positioning this as a product for early 2007. However, I think there are several caveats:
1. This is assuming AMD gets their 65nm process right. Nobody really knows how their ramp is going, since most of the slides they have presented have been positive, but without any real details.

2. I don't think there will be large volumes in early 2007. I suspect the volume won't be there till 2Q07, since AMD generally tends not to ramp quite as fast as others.

I'm trying to get a chance to talk to Chuck Moore about his presentation and get more details. Charlie talked to him earlier today so may have some more details.
