I think Goldie, you're interests are to find Democrats who have played a part in the cancellation of anything you think is scientific and do not investigate the scientific pros and cons for the cancellation. Even science investigation has priorities....The first question that has to be answered is:"tell me the reasons and potential payback that makes that research project go to the head of the line in scientific appropriations." Star Wars was roundly criticized by the scientific community as unworkable besides being enormously expensive....it is still being funded a bit under the table.
