Add to that the fact that the few Conroes that have become available are the pick of the litter. They are neither a statistical relevant sample by either size or quality.

Another interesting tidbit is the fact that no unsupervised testing platforms have been made available to publications that are not known to be toeing the party line. Instead offers went out to run 10 Intel selected benchmarks on Intel configured machines in Intel selected locations.
